The branding had to align with my client’s asks as well as the blockchain’s aesthetic. I first compiled a moodboard based on what my client described to me. Key words that I wanted my moodboard to resonate with were: innovative, minimalistic, fluid, and futuristic. I wanted the logo to be rounded, curved, organic - so I chose a round sans serif font in all lowercase with a rounded logo of the letter “c”. Since the blockchain’s color palette is a cool blue-toned, I chose a blue-purple color for the main accent color.
