3D RAF
Worked on an art project comissioned by Kyle Kuzma’s team that captured the viral photo of Kuzma in an oversized pink Raf Simons sweater. The project sought to create a 3D model of the oversized sweater.

As part of an NFT project, I 3D modeled the Raf Simons Oversized Reversed Knit Sweater famously captured on NBA player Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma’s team wanted to use the viral meme’d image to make a NFT collection. 500 of these NFTs were made, all with different patterns. I 3D modeled the sweater on Marvelous Designer, did additional styling on Cinema 4D, and made the woven knit texture procedurally from scratch using Substance Designer.
I first crafted the individual woven hairs of the knit yarn, then stitched together the yarn to make a repeating pattern. The below details the steps in making the texture:
